I always recommend choosing the bridal gown first, and styling the rest of the overall look, including the groom’s attire, around the dress. It’s also important to consider your venue and degree of formality that you’re going for. For example, If you want a black tie wedding at the Ritz Carlton, make sure your dress is formal enough.
