Ladiesss, Valentine’s Day is around the corner, which for me, is an excuse to make a nice dinner reservation and get dressed up (even if it’s not on the actual Feb. 14 date)! And “Galentine’s Day” counts. You get dressed up to go out with your friends, too, right?

I bought this perfect date night dress a couple months ago and have already gotten a couple wears out of it. It appears to be a Self Portrait dress, but alas, it’s a knockoff. Pro of knockoffs: they are WAY cheaper than their designer counterparts. I hate to be a negative Nancy but that’s the only pro. One of the cons of this particular knockoff is that the fit is off. I would have returned this if I had spent more than $40 on it. So, my lesson here is, in most cases, it’s best to buy quality over quantity….But I really like the overall look of the dress, so thought it was worth posting. 🙂

I love pairing feminine dresses with a black leather jacket to combat the sweetness of the look. I will definitely wear a heavier coat over it if the temperature starts dropping again, though.
