Happy Wednesday! This morning I gravitated to yet another cape in my closet. I think capes are so fun and easy to wear, and they instantly elevate your look. Wearing all black? Throw on a cape and a statement necklace to complete your outfit! Easy peasy. I love this cape in particular, which is from my mom and sister’s store Comfort Me, because it’s pretty heavy, keeping me warm, but there’s no wool in it. Sadly, I’m discovering I have an allergy to wool. It’s not comfortable for me anymore because it makes me itchy. Believe me, there are plenty of other fabrics out there, so if wool makes you itch, too, I say ditch it. You know me, comfort is key!

Anyway, I’m also loving over-the-knee boots with skinny jeans. My OTK boots have a small heel so they make an outfit a little bit dressier than flat boots. I wore my black skinny high waisted jeans with a fitted Amour Vert black scoop neck t-shirt (the most comfortable, soft t-shirt I own), and my favorite vintage statement necklace from Rara Avis Boutique. Now I’m off to…do some work at home. What a waste of a cute outfit! 😉
