Well, I have a new love. My husband and I got a black goldendoodle puppy named Huey a week and a half ago and I am SO smitten. I can’t even handle how cute he is, and he’s so sweet! (Most of the time.) Huey was definitely a life-changer in that he demands so much attention it’s been hard to get things done during the day! But that won’t last forever and his love, affection and adorableness is totally worth it. So obviously I had to include Huey in a photo shoot. He is becoming quite the fur baby model! (Ok, I know, I’m obsessed.)
Moving on to the outfit. I wore my favorite sweater vest – and possibly my favorite piece in my winter wardrobe – on a warm-ish day without a coat. Yay Spring! When you hear “sweater vest” you may have an unpleasant flashback to middle school – or Chandler Bing – but this sweater vest is super modern and chic. I tend to wear my vest with either a striped long sleeved t-shirt or a chambray button down shirt. My chambray shirts weren’t ironed this day, so I opted for the t-shirt. 😉
Also, it was the Saturday before St. Patrick’s Day, and while I didn’t celebrate (no can do with Huey), I busted out my green fedora. I prefer to add color with accessories so that I can rotate all of my neutral pieces over and over again, making new outfits with different accessories. The wedge boots I’m wearing are comfortable and go with anything. I’m a huge fan of wedges for a comfortable, casual look.
